god no please stop

it’s too cute i’m going to get diabetes

i have actually held a tiny hummingbird (for banding purposes) and let me tell you, so you know: they don’t stand up. they just roll over in your hand like a little feathery jellybean and blink at you. you look back down at them, trembling, for anywhere from one to four minutes. then they take off past your ear like a vengeful sewing needle at mach 5 and god help you if you flinch.

That’s all. Carry on. I just wanted to add to your headcanon suffering.

Restarting Commissions Queue + Announcement

wesleyart:

I took a long vacation after the convention to chill and then work through the rust, and now I’m back.

BUT: it occurs to me that the system I had in place (i.e. There Is No System I Just Take Commissions And Draw Them In The Order I Receive Them) is not at all convenient or timely for the people waiting for their commissions. 😦  I can only apologize. I’m still in many ways new to this.

So starting now I’m going to be upgrading to the standard “slots” system that most commission artists use, so I don’t have a queue of people scrolling out the door and into infinity, waiting months and months for their commission just because there are 17 people in line ahead of them.

The plan is, I will have five open slots, and each person who reserves a slot can take out up to three simple commissions, OR one complex commission and one simple one, OR one super fancy one.
For example: you could order three simple linearts, or one simple color + one sketch/lineart, OR one painting for your slot, but not three paintings. If you want three giant paintings, you have to reserve three separate commission slots. Make sense? :3
