Varda, darling…

I think that maybe, this time, my brother might just get what you are trying to tell him.

Well of course!  *scoff* I mean, how desperate can you be? That sign’s been hanging up for ages now, you’d think she’d have gotten the hint by now that I’m not interested! THAT SHIP SAILED, BABY! YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE! YOU CAN’T TAME THIS STUD, SISTER, I’M A WILD STALLION!

Moro Kris Sword

  • Dated: 19th century
  • Geography: Southern Philippines
  • Measurements: overall length 27" (68.58cm); blade length 21" (53.34cm)

The handle has a burl wood pommel, and a variety of wrappings of rattan and twine. The two copper stirrups are large and have the connecting straps mostly not under the binding. There may be a variety of ages of handle wrappings that are not as old as the blade. The blade is small and forged with beautiful silver inlay talisman decorations.
