Alrighty so I sincerely don’t know where the hell this idea came from, but I wanted to do it and I HOPE YOU DON’T MIND THAT I THRUST YOUR SON INTO THIS AS WELL, FRIEND
The
headcanon/plot here is that they both take part in orcish traditions
and gladiator games every five years or so, to show appriceation for
their servants and their culture. Another benefit, naturally, is that
they get to appoint their new lieutenants and generals. For these
events, even Mairon would ditch *most* of his sparkly jewelry in favor
for bones, teeth, skin and fur.
Thû may not be the crown-wearing type, but I thought he’d look DASHING wearing a wolf-pelt
Feat: @misbehavingmaiar ‘s Sauron(GO CHECK SENPAI OUT I SINCERELY FUCKING LOVE THEIR STUFF)
I LOVE THIS IDEA!! *__* What a great way to meet the troops and test their mettle! And what a great excuse to break out the ol’ wolf pelts!
Medieval Gold and Amethyst Bishop’s Ring, 14th-15th Century AD
In the medieval period it was commonly believed that amethysts had the ability to detect poison by becoming dim in color. They were also associated with the clergy being used in Episcopal rings which gave rise to them being known as “Bishop’s stones.”
(( Off to a mini anime con with theraccoon husband Ash! Back later tonight ❤
“How very rude of me! The Holiday of Lovers has passed, and here I haven’t offered the most precious creature on Arda a gift yet! A little creature whispered in my ear that you enjoy sweet things, my lord, and so I had a little thing made for you”
“How considerate! You’re almost as sweet as this cake. Don’t mind if I do…”
((and a very merry birthday to admirable-mun ! <3))

Contextless Headcanon: Sauron/Annatar takes great umbrage to the use of bezoar stones by human nobility. It offends him that so much fine lapidary work goes towards the display and housing of useless medical detritus prized by the wealthy and superstitious.
