Have you heard any of Norwegian composer Martin Romberg’s Silmarillion-inspired work?

😀 I sure have! I have Eldarinwë Líri on tap in m’ iTunes, and a couple of other tracks composed by him ( I mean, I HAD to have the Aulë piano piece). Gorgeous stuff, A+ elfy mood-setting music.

( I just realized the choir singing is Trio Medieval, who I’m a fan of)

Instead of running from door to door, informing the elves in Aman
when a loved one that went into exile has died in middle-earth, I can
imagine Mandos “working together” with his brother. So everytime someone
in middle-earth dies, Irmo will create a special kinda dream for the
relatives in which they can “meet” Námo in the Halls of Mandos who then
informs them about the demise of their loved ones and, if they desire,
even show them how they died.
Nienna will probably care for them afterwards.
Family business.
