Finally working on that Eregion fic again, working through some transitions that were giving me hell. 

Sometimes you just gotta wait until the ink dries and you stop being precious about your paragraphs to start chopping them up and moving them around.

4. Song; I have 60+ songs on his playlist but the one that strikes me as lyrically relevant every time I listen to it is “Black Black Heart”.

Ossë stepped into the opulent hall, head held high as he approached the figure sprawled on the throne with three shining gems on his crown. If he was to bend to the will of some grey magic, he would at least retain his dignity throughout the foul act. “Brother,” he greeted simply, damp fabric dragging on the floor behind him as he stepped up the dais. “Do not read too much into this,” he warned in a growl as he leaned forward to brush his cool lips across Melkor’s cheek.

Sauron: I loved Tyelperinquar more than I can possibly say. He was a real creative guy – a smith – an architect. But he was always trying to improve his skills. He’d go to the forge every night improving his skills and on the way he forged Nenya, Narya, and Vilya. I guess you could say we broke up because of artistic differences. He saw himself as alive, and I saw him dead.
