Holy shit dude …. dude… this is so… so much. I can’t believe this is real– like, a real drawing you actually went and made in with physical materials. My god, it’s on Real Paper?  I can’t even make words right now. It’s so fucking beautiful.  This is by far the most beautiful and elaborate thing I think has ever been done for a thing I wrote, and this completely outclasses anything I’ve ever written or drawn by fucking miles… my dinky headcanon post is hardly deserving of this masterpiece; I feel like this should be in a Viennese gallery like the Beethoven Frieze, with gold leaf and stuff. I’m genuinely emotional right now, just… holy shit look at this………. look at the lyre, look at the waves… he’s got a shattered halo and the body of a broken god, I’m fucking speechless

I am looking for general symols example-protection, strength, and colors.wanting to use them for decoration

Well met Anon,

The dwarves once had an ideographic

writing system (prior to them adopting runes), yet professor Tolkien never wrote these down, nor do we really know anything beyond the fact that these once were used by the dwarves.

So sadly, I can’t give you any dwarvish symbols at all, let alone regarding specific topics.

More information about this earlier writing system can be found in this older ASK. This also includes a wonderful attempt by @striving-artist  at creating an ideographic system by using Neo-Khuzdul words.

Legolas pretty quickly gets in the habit of venting about his travelling companions in Elvish, so long as Gandalf & Aragorn aren’t in earshot they’ll never know right?

Then about a week into their journey like

Legolas: *in Elvish, for approximately the 20th time* ugh fucking hobbits, so annoying

Frodo: *also in Elvish, deadpan* yeah we’re the worst

Legolas:

~*~earlier~*~

Legolas: ugh fucking hobbits

Merry: Frodo what’d he say

Frodo: I’m not sure he speaks a weird dialect but I think he’s insulting us. I should tell him I can understand Elvish

Merry: I mean you could do that but consider

Merry: you can only tell him ONCE

Frodo: Merry. You’re absolutely right. I’ll wait.

#legolas’ hick accent vs #frodo’s ‘i learned it out of a book’ accent #FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Legolas: umm well your accent is horrible

Aragorn: *hollering from a distance* HIS ACCENT IS BETTER THAN YOURS LEGOLAS YOU SILVAN HICK

Frodo: 🙂

Frodo: Hello. My name is Frodo. I am a Hobbit. How are you?

Legolas: y’alld’ve’ff’ve

Frodo, crying: please I can’t understand what you’r saying

Therefore the Three remained unsullied, for they were forged by
Celebrimbor alone, and the hand of Sauron had never touched them; yet
they also were subject to the One. From that time war never ceased
between Sauron and the Elves; and Eregion was laid waste, and
Celebrimbor slain, and the doors of Moria were shut.

a metal cover was the only possible way to make this More Melkor than it already was
