Irimë was a Noldorin elf, the daughter of Finwë, the High King of the Ñoldor and Indis; sister of Fingolfin, Finarfin, Findis, and half-sister of Fëanor.Irimë was born during the Noontide of Valinor, probably in Tirion. She was the third child of Finwë and Indis and their second daughter. Also called antimonite, it is the main source of antimony, used as a pigment since antique times, and in modern flame retardants and pyrotechnics. The name comes from the Greek name for the mineral stibin. It is the main ingredient of the makeup called kohl, used as eye shadow throughout the world in antiquity and was also used in ancient Egyptian medicines.
