Do either of you have any regrets? And what is one thing you would say to each other first if you were together again after so long (whether that’s Melkor escaping the Void or Sauron joining him).
I regret we did not run from war, as far and as fast as we could; that we did not spend our immortality together in exile, carving a space for ourselves and my master’s children somewhere where we could be alone and free.
And should we meet again I would say to him: ‘Destroy me. All that is left of me is yours to take. Let me give you the strength to finish what was begun.’

How can I regret what I am, what I was made to be? In madness, solitude, and darkness I have seen the truth; that I have always been my Father’s tool, in His service all along. There was never an escape from this. Fate is crueler than I ever was.
