Arnarstapi is a small fishing village in the southern part of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and at the foot of Mount Stapafell.

Arnarstapi is a place in Snæfellsnes that should not be missed!  And there is a 2.5 km long hiking trail leading through the lava field between Arnarstapi to Hellnar which is a great fun to walk

Bit obscure, but here’s some Silmarillion art. Been reading it again and the image of Oromë has really stayed with me.

“And Oromë tamer of beasts would ride too at whiles at the darkness of the forests… and his white horse Nahar shone like silver in the shadows. … But even as Oromë passed the servants of Melkor would gather again; and the lands were filled with shadows and deceit.”

Instead of running from door to door, informing the elves in Aman
when a loved one that went into exile has died in middle-earth, I can
imagine Mandos “working together” with his brother. So everytime someone
in middle-earth dies, Irmo will create a special kinda dream for the
relatives in which they can “meet” Námo in the Halls of Mandos who then
informs them about the demise of their loved ones and, if they desire,
even show them how they died.
Nienna will probably care for them afterwards.
Family business.
