Wesley Reads “Carrion Comfort”, by Gerard Manley Hopkins 

While I was flipping around for Hymn to Proserpina, I accidentally fell in love with this poem in passing, so I read it also. XD It’s much shorter, and I didn’t whisper through it this time. (My reading voice is so terribly choppy, forgive me!)

Wesley Reads “Hymn to Proserpina” by Charles Swinburne

My half of the trade with beguilingblackness, as promised! 

This is a ridonkulously difficult poem to read aloud. The meter is insane. I absolutely did not do it justice and I apologize. It is one of my favorite poems!

This starts out very, very soft and gets a little louder as it goes, but you’ll probably have to crank up the volume to hear me at all in the beginning. XD Sorry for my whisper-voice.
