The Weeping Stones
Photographed off the coast of Okayama, Japan, The Weeping Stones is a photo series by the creative duo Trevor Williams and Jonathan Galione of Tdub Photo that captures the eerie blue light emitted by a native species of bioluminescent shrimp. More commonly referred to as sea fireflies, these rare creatures live in the sand in shallow sea water, floating somewhere between the extremes of high and low tide. At just 3 mm in length the shrimp are extremely small light sources, but when grouped together they take on abstract patterns that light up the water around them.

Been doing a lot of freehand marker & pen doodling since it forces me to not sweat mistakes
Dear imindhowwelayinjune, the fact that you’re such a great person and writer and are there somewhere, that I can read your blog and your stories and chat with your about things, including such things of utmost importance as elfdicks, makes up a huge chunk of fun I’m having in this fandom. Please accept some Finrod and a creepy Ulmo having a Michaelangelo moment. Happy Birthday, my dear fren, and I hope it was a good one. Love you and you, there’s someone in your corner all the way across the sea ))
AoAA: The Zigûr in the Court of Ar-Pharazôn– RivkaZ 2016
Sauron addresses Ar-Pharazon and Tar-Miriel in the court of Armenelos.
Lindholm Høje, Denmark
Lindholm Høje (Lindholm Hills, from Old Norse haugr, hill or mound) is a major Viking burial site and former settlement situated to the north of and overlooking the city of Aalborg in Denmark.
The southern (lower) part of Lindholm Høje dates to 1000 – 1050 AD, the Viking Age, while the northern (higher) part is significantly earlier, dating back to the 5th century AD in the Nordic Iron Age. An unknown number of rocks have been removed from the site over the centuries, many, for example, being broken up in the 19th century for use in road construction.

Sauron’s Masks: Tol-in-Gaurhoth – War of the Last Alliance– RivkaZ 2017
“There now he brooded in the dark, until he had wrought for himself a new shape; and it was terrible, for his fair semblance had departed forever when he was cast into the abyss"
I wanted to showcase my idea for different battle masks worn by Sauron; one for striking fear in the elves of Sirion, and one to disguise his misshapen visage after the Akallabeth. I thought it would be poetic to see his fair form to wear a fearsome mask while his monstrous form wears a beautiful one; maybe for the sake of vanity, or simply to be recognizable after his imperfect re-embodiment. It seems like something the leaders of the Last Alliance who knew him from before would comment on, while facing him down on the slopes of Orodruin.
Just some thoughts and sketches; Sauron gives his power to the One Ring
yeap, I don’t think it was easy for him hhh
Finalllyyy drew my designs for sons of Feanor.
To me Feanor looks like older, uglier Curufin and Nerdanel close to Caranthir but with Maedhros’ hair.
(and yes, I fucked up Maedhros’ hand, it’s the wrong one oops)
