I try to whip these things out in under 30 minutes with no reference; just get the expression and body language down in vaguely recognizable order with minimal scribble-pasta and call it good. Every once in a blue moon I’ll get so pissed off at a wonky detail that I’ll go back and fix it, but for the most part I just move on and try to draw things better the next time. XD
