I would like for Maedhros with several gold teeth to become more of a thing in the Silm fandom tbh

yes.

tbh i’m not going to be that interested unless maedhros looks like he’s been over by a lawnmower.

real talk tho sauron and princess bubblegum would not become friends bc they don’t make friends, but they’d talk for hours and respect each other’s abilities and work even if they disagree on the universal importance of sugar

>:I THIS IS THE TRUEST THING EVER WRITTEN ON TUMBLR

Soon: the Taffy-Orcs of Minas Morgul are the most terrifying and indestructible enemy ever faced in Middle Earth

their only weakness is water and then they just turn the battlefield into impassable fields of candy glue

the elves tried eating them but they could only get through half an orc before they had to go home with tummy aches

Aaaaaaand HOLY SHIT GLORY HALLELUJA PRAISE MELKOR it’s the end of my commissions queue!     (/ ̄▽ ̄)/ *:・゚✧

That means I can come off hiatus and:

A) start working on drafts and asks again
B) start illustrating THE GREAT AND POWERFUL PANDË VERSE
C) maybe actually get another comic page done please god

When I start taking commissions again I’m going to actually start using a slot system like a sensible person so I don’t have a queue scrolling out into the vastness of forever. Much as I love making clients wait six months before they get their turn mea culpa, not knowing if they’re even still interested or able to commission me, I THINK THIS SYSTEM WILL BE BETTER FOR EVERYONE. >_>;;;;;;;

Anyway, I’ll let you guys know when I’m ready to open shop again. :’) You guys are the best and I really, really appreciate the work you give me, both as much needed financial boost and as an opportunity to grow as an artist. Thank you so much! ❤

Septarian nodules of Marl with Pyrite

Septarian nodules are a type of concretion; they are masses of mineral matter formed when minerals in water are deposited about a nucleus (such as a leaf or shell or other particle) forming a rounded mass whose composition or cement is usually different from the surrounding rock.

In contrast to most geodes, which are volcanic in nature, Septarians are a form of sedimentary geode. They formed on sea beds millions of years ago and, when they dried out, they cracked and formed hollow interiors. The
interiors usually become either partly or completely full with other minerals.

Locality: riverbank of the Volga, Ulyanovsk region, Russia.

I gotta disagree on the “most geodes are volcanic in nature” part here. They can occur in both volcanic and sedimentary rocks, wherever you have open spaces, and I’m not sure there’s a good and true accounting of them. Most of the ones I’ve seen at rock sales are in sedimentary rocks, but that’s obviously not a good sampling either.
