I feel like book-Thranduil blushes easily: @elf-and-iron, discuss.

With his noted frequency to high emotion, he just might. Tolkien’s fondness for pale elves and ethereal descriptions makes me think book Thran is porcelain pale, which skintone does tend to lend itself to blushing.

In addition, there’s a noted fondness for wine in Mirkwood. I bet he blushes when he’s drunk, or other situations where his judgement or self-control might be… compromised.
